Image Gallery

These collections of images have been acquired either by the members of our staff or students who have participated on astronomy education research projects with Insight Observatory utilizing remote robotic telescopes. Please visit our Image Gallery Archive to view past images.

The images below were taken by Mrs. Burns' 6th grade students at the Plymouth Community Intermediate School as part of class astronomy education project utilizing remote robotic telescopes called "The Winter Milky Way Project - What Lies Within Our Galaxy?" The project was made possible with a generous grant from the Plymouth Cultural Council. All images were taken with different size remote robotic telescopes located in Mayhill, New Mexico - Nerpio, Spain and New South Wales, Australia.



The images below were taken by Ms. Shaw's 6th grade students at the Plymouth Community Intermediate School as part of class astronomy education project utilizing remote robotic telescopes called "The Summer Milky Way Project - What Lies Within Our Galaxy?" The project was made possible with a generous grant from iTelescope.net. All images were taken with different size remote robotic telescopes located in Mayhill, New Mexico and New South Wales, Australia.



The images below were taken by 6th grade students at the Plymouth Community Intermediate School as part of class astronomy education project utilizing remote robotic telescopes called "The Galaxy Project - What Lies Beyond the Stars?" All images were taken with a 17" telescope remotely in New Mexico with 5 minute exposures.
