ATEO Image Request

Capture stunning astronomical images with Insight Observatory's Astronomical Telescopes for Educational Outreach (ATEO). Choose between our 16" f/3.7 Dreamscope astrograph reflector (ATEO-1) and the 5" f/7 Williams Optics refractor (ATEO-2). These remote imaging systems are equipped with the following:

  • Starlight Xpress Lodestar X2 Guiding Camera

The cost is only a donation of $5.00 per image via PayPal or credit card. All proceeds are applied to the continuing efforts of funding the remote telescopes hosting and maintenance costs at their dark site located at an elevation of 7,778 ft. in New Mexico. After your purchase is made, you will then be redirected to the Public Image Request Form (PIR) where you can, in a few simple steps, request your image of a nebula, galaxy, or star cluster. The image request will then be inserted into the ATEO remote telescope network queue. When the image has been processed and uploaded, an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to retrieve your image.
